As we do our best to be our best, many of us have questions about what we eat. We source our milk and cream from a local dairy farm in the Eastern Shores to ensure the freshness of our products. Our ingredients are sourced from companies that don't believe in artificial flavoring or we just pop into the grocery store for fresh fruit. Our flavor profile is unique because we do what we can to keep things natural.

Is your ice cream gluten-free?
Yes! Our ice cream is gluten-free however, some of the inclusions won’t be. Most cones are NOT gluten-free.
Gluten Inclusions: birthday cake, brownie, cookie dough, banana pudding

Do you have vegan options?
Yes! We have vegan/dairy-free options in stock year-round and sorbets are always a dairy-free option. Our dairy-free flavor is also nut-free and soy-free, made with a coconut.

Do you have any sugar-free options?
No, we currently do not have any sugar-free options.

What about nut allergies? Are there any nut-free options?
Many of our ice cream flavors are nut-free. However, our flavors are all made in the same kitchen that processes nuts, we are careful, however cross-contamination is possible. We're always more than happy to retrieve a fresh scoop from the back upon request.

Ice cream cakes?
Yes. You can order an ice cream cake or pie here on our web-site. Cakes can be any of our Sweet 16 flavors or a custom flavor for an additional charge. Pies are limited to 6 flavors for now.
Does your ice cream contain egg or egg products?
This is like our gluten-free options. The ice cream does not contain eggs however, our inclusions may contain egg.

Are you open year-round?
Yes, we are open 7 days a week, year-round. We’re open longer hours during the spring and summer (April – September) and are open most holidays. Check our socials, Google or Yelp for updated hours.
Do you cater?
We have 6 devices to choose from and can be reserved for birthday parties, corporate events, weddings, or just a good time. Contact us at catering@sundaescoopva.com for more information.
Can I host a private event at your location?
Shoot us an e-mail. We plan to host events such as ice cream making classes, and other community-related events regularly. If we have an opportunity to host a party we will do our best to accommodate.
Can I work at Sundae Scoop?
We are a customer service business that happens to sell delicious ice cream. When you apply via our email sundaescoopva@gmail.com, we’ll ask about unique skills or what you’re bringing to the team. We’re looking for people who want a chance to develop their own skills and show us who they are.

Do you ship or deliver your ice cream?
Not right now. We prefer you come in and get to know us first!
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. There is a $5 minimum purchase. You can also prepay for scoops if you want to treat a friend.

Do you sell merchandise?
Yes. Check out our online store. We have T-Shirts, hoodies, and stickers for sale.

I’m collecting donations for a local charity – who can I contact?
We love our community and are proud to support many of the non-profit organizations that make it great. We focus on veterans, at risk youth, and our local high schools. Let us know your cause, if we can’t help we may be able to find someone who can.
